The first step for adults toward receiving the Sacraments of First Communion and Confirmation is to attend Inquiry meetings on Tuesday evenings at 7:00 pm in the St Michael Convent (diagnoally across from the church).

Classes for adults preparing for the Sacrament of Confirmation begin in the fall. Candidates are confirmed by the bishop at the Cathedral of Christ the Light in Oakland in January. Contact RCIA@StMichaelLivermore.com for more information.

Firstly, you are not alone! Many of us received the Sacrament of Reconciliation (Confession) when we were kids, but then never went back.

Next, if it's been a long time, it might be more comfortable to meet with a priest, rather then stand in the Confession line. Call the church office at 925-447-1585 x 10 and ask for an appointment. You may also like this handy guide to take with you.

Registration for Faith Formation is open May through September. Classes begin in October.

Couples who were not married in the church can have their marriages "convalidated". This means that their union receives Christ's grace through the Sacrament of Matrimony.

If either of the spouses were married before, and the marriage was not yet annulled, the process may take a bit of time.
