And Special Intentions of the Week

Traditional Prayer for the Dead

English

V. Eternal rest grant unto them, O Lord.

R. And let the perpetual light shine upon them.

And may the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.

Latin

V. Requiem aeternam dona eis, Domine.

R. Et lux perpetua luceat eis.

Fidelium animae, per misericordiam Dei, requiescant in pace. Amen.

Special Intentions

For those seeking elected office in our country, that they may seek the truth that is Jesus Christ. For all Catholics of voting age, that each may develop a well-formed conscience in alignment with the teachings of Christ and His church.

For the sanctity of human life from conception until natural death, and for the conversion of our culture.

For the repose of the souls of Bill Cantril, Antoinette Tejada, Ralph E. Melendez and Eleanor Sahlin.

For whom else shall we pray?  Please leave your comments below.
