We are overjoyed by your interest in joining your child to God's family through the Sacrament of Baptism!
"Holy Baptism is the basis of the whole Christian life, the gateway to life in the Spirit (vitae spiritualis ianua), and the door which gives access to the other sacraments. Through Baptism we are freed from sin and reborn as sons of God; we become members of Christ, are incorporated into the Church and made sharers in her mission: "Baptism is the sacrament of regeneration through water in the word."
Catechism of the Catholic Church 1213
The process for baptizing your child (under age 7) takes two months, including attending two consecutive classes. Godparents must attend the second class. Mothers who are six months pregnant are encouraged to begin the process.
The First Step
Begin the Baptism process by downloading the Baptism Packet below, in English or Spanish:
At least one godparent MUST be Catholic and have received Baptism, First Communion, and Confirmation. Godparents who are married must have been married in the Church. Godparents must attend the second baptism class (or a class at another parish).
The Next Steps
Bring your completed Baptism packet and documents to the church office. You will sign up for Baptism classes at that time.
