Ministers of Communion

Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion

In every celebration of the Eucharist, ministers of Holy Communion distribute the precious body and blood of Jesus in a reverent and orderly manner. 

Extensive training to receive sufficient spiritual, theological, and practical preparation is required to fulfill the role of a minister of holy communion.  

Training for new Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion is available in August, November, February and May.

Must be at least 18 years old, have received the Sacrament of Confirmation and are living a Catholic life in accordance with Church teaching.
