Service Hours Opportunities

Actors needed for two short videos on Adoration and Confession.

We need two teens to read at Good Friday's Stations of the Cross service.

Help put free grocery kits into cars as they come through the drive through

To participate in this, a parent must accompany the teen.

  • On Saturdays from 9 am - 11 am
  • Follow the link and sign up: https://stmichaellivermore.com/Groceries.
  • Upon completion, have your teen's community service sheet signed by the leader of the community care.

These ideas can be done at home:

  • Any usual house chores: cleaning windows, laundry, cleaning floors, dusting, cleaning the oven, cleaning the refrigerator, cleaning the bathrooms, any yard work, raking Leaves, etc.
  • Any household projects, sorting, organizing, etc.
  • Purging their room: going through clothes and items they have outgrown and donate the items. 
  • Pray rosary before mass for the homeless or those in need. 
  • Donations of food
  • Write a card to the nursing home or home bound to drop off/mail for Easter. 
  • Write and send a letter to soldiers or send a goody bag (contact local military office for information on how to do this). 
  • Grocery shopping and door drop off for a neighbor or elderly family member. 
  • Donate toiletries and sanitary items to a local shelter. 
  • Visit a cemetery and pray for those you have lost or others have lost. 
  • Make a call to someone you know that has been burdened during this pandemic: an elderly person, a health care worker, etc., spend time talking to them. 
  • Write a letter or send a card to someone you know is suffering and let them know you are thinking of them. 
  • Lead a family rosary night in person or via zoom.
