Complete the Baptism Intake Form
Our Baptism Coordinator will contact you
Our Baptism \Coordinator will give you a handy checklist to keep you on track with the process. She will give you a list of the documents you will need to gather before your appointment with a priest. As soon as you return the completed forms to her, she will book your appointment with a priest.
You will choose a Baptism Date after your meeting with a priest
The date of the Rite of Baptism will not be assigned until the Baptism Class is completed and all the documents are completed and submitted to the St Michael Church Office.
Communal and private baptisms are scheduled several times per month.
Gather Documentation
You will need your child's Birth Certificate and if married, your Marriage Certificate.
If you are not a member of St Michael Catholic Church, you will need to obtain written and signed permission from your pastor to baptize at St Michael.
You will need to bring these to your appointment with a priest.
Godparent Requirements
Review How to Choose a Godparent.
Godparents need to complete and sign the Godmother Application / Godfather Application
If Godparents are not members of St Michael, they need to submit a Certificate of Suitability approved by their pastor
